An important initiative of the AFL Coaches Association, AFL Players’ Association and Zurich Insurance is the Tackle Your Feelings (TYF) Program, a mental health training program for community football clubs.
A strength of our program is its ability to use football as the vehicle to have conversations about social and emotional wellbeing, and given the significant role football plays in Australian Indigenous communities, we believe this will help us ensure TYF is a valued community program for all Australians, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
